Teatro Potlach
Potlach Theatre was founded in 1976 by Pino Di Buduo and Daniela Regnoli. Although located in Fara Sabina, a small centre in the province of Rieti, Italy, Potlach Theatre is recognised worldwide and travels all over the world with their performances and pedagogical activities. Teatro Potlach have, since 1991, been creating the project Città Invisibili in both Europe and America: it consists of a theatre work “outdoor theatre”, which transforms the everyday spaces, through the discovery of their cultural identity and through the elaboration of the creative energy of its inhabitants”. Through their continuous travels and direct contact with European, Asian and Latin American performative cultures, Teatro Potlach manages to break through the boundaries of the institutional idea of theatre, using elements of circus, dance and musical performances in their methods of training.
