Pimp Your Pizza is becoming a tradition at the Slaughterhouse. Bake your own delicious pizza in the oil barrels and decorate them as much (or little) as you like! Just bring your own favourite toppings.

Jump! Tonight the local bands are blasting into the Slaughterhouse, loaded with young talent and energy. Shady Town presents rising stars of Holstebro as local bands invade the stage, playing home grown music of different genres; electronic, pop, indie, rock and pretty heavy rock.

A robotic orchestra creates a massive cathedral of sound with kaleidoscopes and shadows of light. The exhibition room is loaded with art installations, balloons, moving shadows and video art.

17.00 Shady Town Opens
Shady Town opens it’s gates, bars and spaces from 18.00. You are welcome as fellow citizens, friends, visitors, audiences, strangers, creatures, robots, freaks… Together we experiment with co-creation and village-building, offering a thoughtful and wild vision of the art of recycling, rebuilding delapitated things but as new creations based on crazy ideas and visions for the future. Drop in for a chat, play, dance, sing and enjoy spending time together.

18.30-19.00 Tractor Circus
Machine meets man and all rules are broken. A floating stage is created as ropes are rigged between agricultural machinery, turning the collaboration between man and huge machinery literally upside-down! Together they capture the poetry – the sharp beauty of honesty and madness unfolds in a twisted universe.

19.00-19.30 Open Stage
Open Stage calls for all performers to step up and share – songs, music, dance, stand-up comedy… Shady Town is hoping to see your talent unfold! The stage is supplied with a small PA-set with microphones and the possibility to plug in your computer or mp3 player. 19.30-20.30 Wildcards for the Voters in the Wild West
The old election booths from Holstebro is set op on the usual line to keep an extraordinary election one last time. When the election is free then there should also be freedom to unfold in other ways? A performance with surprises!

23.00-01.00 Late Night Festuge Cabaret
At the Late Night Cabaret all Festuge people, audience and artists get together in a comfortable and lively atmosphere to talk, meet each other and have drinks. Anything might happen here; a spontaneous choir, jazz singers, acrobats flying through the air, dance to live music or simply good vibes with old and new friends. The Late Night Cabaret is open every evening, featuring different invited artists every night. Local and international Festuge artists will make more or less spontaneous appearances on the stage.
